The latest resource from Washington State University Extension is a revised guide to protecting the state’s tree fruit crops from pests and pathogens.

Through the online Extension Publications Store, experts from WSU and partner institutions share a wide range of resources aimed at farmers, gardeners, homeowners, and other communities, in both English and Spanish. The storefront includes a list of recent products.

This $27, 186-page document is the revised guide to use of chemical deterrents to orchard insect, disease, and weed pests in Washington state. It covers programs for apple, pear, cherry, and stone fruit; safety; general recommendations; bee protection; environmental fruit protectants; critical temperatures; nutrients; and more.
