PUYALLUP, Wash. – Pierce County Master Gardeners, in collaboration with the City of Puyallup, host A Celebration of Pollinators, a free, family-friendly celebration at the Puyallup Demonstration Garden, 2607 W. Pioneer Ave., Saturday, June 15, from 10 am to 2 pm. Children’s activities begin at 11:30 am after opening remarks.

The Master Gardeners will dedicate a newly installed pollinator education station as part of the celebration. This event reflects the group’s commitment to sharing environmental stewardship education with a priority focus on pollinator health. Puyallup is one of only five bee cities in Washington.

The event kicks off National Pollinator Week for the Master Gardeners, who are committed to sharing environmental stewardship education as part of their mission. Rain or shine, there will be prizes, children’s activities, an opportunity to get your hands dirty during the Compost 101 presentation, and much more.

Continuing education opportunities are available for Master Gardeners.
