CAHNRS Faculty Feature: Angela Reitmeier

I grew up in North Dakota, which REALLY makes you appreciate the weather and scenery of the Palouse!

I went to school right here at WSU in the Animal Science department!  Do I have to say the year???

How did you become interested in your field?

I got on a horse for the first time when I was 8 and announced: “I’m going to do this for the rest of my life.”

Why did you want to become a teacher?

It was the perfect opportunity at the perfect time.  I love my job.

What is your favorite thing about working with college students?

My favorite part about working with college students is the ability to pass down decades of knowledge into their young, energetic hands.

What advice would you pass along to students?

Take delight in learning something new EVERY day, for the rest of your life.
