Washington Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz was on the WSU Pullman campus today, talking with faculty from the School of the Environment and Dean André-Denis Wright. She came to learn about the variety of research projects going on in SOE, and to consider potential partnerships between the Department of Natural Resources and WSU.
Faculty with research interests ranging from wildfires to environmental DNA to groundwater and water resources to volcanology talked with Franz about their work and how they’re helping improve Washington, the Pacific Northwest, and the world.
