From Washington State University Extension, this is Prevent the Spread of COVID-19.

The Ballard Farmers Market was the first to open in Seattle this year. Working with the mayor and health department, they developed guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

  • Stay home if you are sick or have been in contact with someone who is sick.
  • If possible, pre-order and pre-pay.
  • One shopper per household.
  • Minimize time at the market, shop with a list. Farmers markets may limit the number of visitors to one in for every visitor out.
  • Avoid touching any displays – ask a vendor.
  • Use hand washing stations and hand sanitizer.
  • Maintain at least 6-feet of social distance. As a reminder, markets may use tape or chalk lines to mark appropriate distances.
  • Look for and follow signs posted by vendors and the market.

Stay home, stay safe, and stay healthy.
