Do you have last minute questions about the meat and poultry you’re serving for the holidays? It’s easy to get help in English or Spanish by phoning the United States Department Agriculture.
Call 888-674-6854. With the first prompt, choose English or Spanish. Next, select #1 for Meat and Poultry Inquires followed by #3 which connects you to a food safety specialist.
Food safety specialists are available Monday through Friday from 8A to 6P Eastern Standard Time. And, on Thanksgiving 2019 from 8A to 2P Eastern Standard Time. This service is not available on other Federal government holidays.
