Geopolitics and the Green Revolution Topic of March 1 Seminar

PULLMAN, Wash. — John H. Perkins of Evergreen State College will present a seminar titled “Geopolitics and the Green Revolution: Wheat, Genes and the Cold War,” from 3:10 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, March 1, in Johnson Hall 204 on the Washington State University Pullman campus.

In a recent book, Perkins argued that the Green Revolution was promoted by national security planning concerns of each country that embraced the new agricultural technology.
