Farming With the Wind Conference Nov. 19-20 in Spokane

PULLMAN, Wash. — Farming with the Wind, a review of the Columbia Plateau Wind Erosion/PM-10 research project, is scheduled Nov. 19-20 at the Ridpath Hotel in Spokane.

Researchers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service, the University of Idaho, Washington State University, and officials from the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, the Washington Department of Ecology, the Environmental Protection Agency and growers will review recent research results, discuss current farming practices, future visions for agricultural management and new directions for research into air quality related to agriculture.
