Each week, we will showcase one of our CAHNRS Ambassadors. Ambassadors is a student leadership organization that encourages students to pursue higher education and serves as a liaison between the college and the greater community. This week, we’re featuring Holly Lane, a junior from Auburn, Wash.

What are you studying?
I’m double majoring in Agricultural Biotechnology and Organic Agriculture Systems.
What is a fun fact about you?
I am a third generation WSU student!

What is special about being a CAHNRS Coug?
CAHNRS feels like a family. I have a place in WSU and CAHNRS where I belong. CAHNRS has helped me find my passions and to thrive.
Where do you want to be (professionally or personally) 10 years after you graduate?
With a job I love and lots of pets.
Favorite class you have taken within CAHNRS so far? Why?
AFS 101 really made me feel like I had chosen an interesting, meaningful field of study.
What other extracurricular activities have you been involved in?
I currently work in a lab and am working on a molecular plant science project. I worked on this project in Valencia, Spain last summer.
Favorite Ferdinand’s flavor of ice cream?
Apple Cup Crisp!
