How frequently do you use a thermometer in your kitchen?  Research shows fewer than 50% of consumers use a thermometer while cooking food.  Using a thermometer ensures safety and quality of your food.

If you don’t like removing a casserole or large cut of meat from the oven to check the temperature, the Oven Cord Thermometer could be the one for you. The probe or tip is inserted into the food. The cord extends from the food to outside the oven where it is connected to a monitor.  Most models have features allowing you to set the end-point cooking temperature.

Fork Thermometers are also popular. Using digital technology, they work quickly with temperature probes implanted in the tines of the fork.  Fork thermometers are great for grilling meats, poultry, and fish.

With every thermometer, always read manufacturers’ directions before using.
