New Scholarship Supports V&E at WSU
Wine-By-Cougars has announced the development of the WBC Viticulture and Enology Scholarship fund.
“WSU’s viticulture and enology program is nationally recognized and provides the booming Washington wine industry with research innovations and talented graduates to recruit,” a Wine-By-Cougars representative said.
Wine-By-Cougars is a wine club that features “premium, hand-crafted wines produced by wineries with a Cougar connection,” according to club founder and alumna Cassie Rothstrom.

A Celebration of Washington Wines
The 2009 Celebration of Washington Wines will be held at Chateau Ste. Michelle, Jan. 29. This black-tie reception, dinner, and auction benefits the WSU viticulture and enology program with scholarships and world-class research. In turn, WSU’s viticulture and enology program supports the Washington wine industry by educating the next generation of leaders, innovative research, and issue-oriented outreach.
