Cardiology Today is the latest publication to report on WSU research finding that whey protein beverages can reduce blood pressure in a story on Wednesday.

The Washington Post‘s “Green Lantern” column recently reported on Jude Capper‘s research in a story comparing environmental impacts of corn-fed and grass-fed beef cattle.

On Thursday the Columbia Basin Herald reported on plans to expand the Othello community garden started by the WSU Master Gardeners and a local church.

Friday’s Wenatchee World included the announcement of the WSU Extension oilseed crop workshop to be held in Okanogan.

Sunday’s Omak Chronicle also carried the announcement of the Extension oilseed crop workshops in Okanogan, Reardon and Colfax.

On Friday the Bellingham Herald included the announcement of the Cultivating Success agricultural entrepreneurship class series.

Sunday’s Everett Herald included an announcement of a fruit tree workshop series being put on by WSU Snohomish County Extension.
