Each week, we will showcase one of our CAHNRS Ambassadors, a student leadership organization that encourages students to pursue higher education and serves as a liaison between the college and the greater community. This week, we’re featuring Spencer Seeberger, a junior from Graham, Wash.
What are you studying?
I’m majoring in Landscape Architecture, with a minor in Zoology.
What is a fun fact about you?
My eyes are different colors.
It was the first place in the state that felt like a second home.
What is special about being a CAHNRS Coug?
The community. You can really connect with other CAHNRS students and make lifelong friends.
Where do you want to be (professionally or personally) 10 years after you graduate?
I would like to be somewhere encouraging sustainable and healthy designs for people and animals alike.
Favorite class you have taken within CAHNRS so far? Why?
Soil Science 201. It gave me a good starting language with AFS, IPS, and Crop & Soil science students. Also, all of the Landscape Architecture design studios prepare me well for my future.
What extracurricular activities have you been involved in within CAHNRS (excluding ambassadors)?
I am a part of American Society of Landscape Architecture (ASLA) as an officer as well as a representative in the CAHNRS Student Senate.
