WSU Wheat Researcher Dies

PULLMAN, Wash. — Ed Donaldson, a Washington State University research agronomist, died Tuesday, April 13, in Spokane. Donaldson’s career included 28 years on the WSU faculty.

Most of his WSU career was spent at Lind, where he worked in WSU’s hard-red-winter wheat-breeding program.

Donaldson was on a medical leave and had recently moved to Spokane.

He is survived by his widow, Sue A. Donaldson, Spokane. Funeral services will be Friday, April 16, 1999 at 1 p.m. at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home-North, 5100 W. Wellesley. Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, April 15. Interment will be Saturday, 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls, Mont.
