Satellite Teleconference on Farm Programs Aug. 27

PULLMAN, Wash. — The first of a series of four satellite teleconferences on new farm programs will be broadcast 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. August 27.

The program will provide information on risk management, multi-peril crop insurance and marketing assistance loans. Presenters will answer phoned or faxed questions after their presentations. Toll-free numbers will be announced during the program.

The broadcast can be viewed by setting satellite dishes to Satcom, C-1, Channel 22 vertical on the C-Band. The downlink frequency is 4140 megahertz. Test and tone transmissions will begin at 7:45 a.m.
