Pesticide Registration Commission to Meet May 14

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State Commission on Pesticide Registration will review legislative issues and proposals from pesticide users requesting funding from the commission at a meeting scheduled May 14 in Wenatchee.

The meeting is scheduled from 10 a.m. to about 4 p.m at the Washington State University Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center, 1100 N. Western Ave. The public is invited.

The commission was created by the state legislature in 1995 to obtain and maintain pesticide registrations for critical pest control needs for the state. The commission is headquartered at Washington State University’s Tri-Cities campus.
