New Mason/Grays Harbor WSU Extension 4-H Regional Specialist Will Work with Youth and Families

PULLMAN, Wash. — Daniel Teuteberg has been named the new WSU Extension 4-H Regional Specialist in Mason/Grays Harbor counties. Teuteberg previously served as the 4-H Youth Development Educator at the University of Wisconsin and has also had positions with AmeriCorps and as a teacher, counselor and adventure camp director.

“I look forward to ensuring the 4-H mission of empowering youth to reach their full potential while working and learning in partnership with caring adults,” said Teuteberg.

Teuteberg will be instrumental in developing and leading programs that will benefit youth and families in both counties.

“Dan’s knowledge and background in 4-H, combined with his desire to make a positive difference in families and the community will have a great impact,” said Pat BoyEs, director WSU Extension 4-H Youth Development.

In his new position, Teuteberg will also be responsible for working with volunteers, staff and county personnel to help reach underserved youth, evaluate program outcomes, develop fiscal resources and expand partnerships.
