PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University President Elson S. Floyd will announce a major new grant award from the U.S. Department of Agriculture that will directly benefit the state’s agricultural industry at 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the lobby of the Vogel Plant BioSciences building.
Dan Bernardo, dean of the WSU College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences, as well as many of the scientists involved in the grant-funded projects, also will be available to answer reporter questions.
Vogel Plant BioSciences is located directly across Stadium Way from Martin Stadium on the Pullman campus.
