New Dean André-Denis Wright joined alumni, faculty and students in the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resources Sciences to share the spirit, strength and depth of our programs at CAHNRS’ fall football tailgate party, held Sept. 8 prior to the victorious WSU-San Jose football game.

Visitors of all ages, from golden grads to children, learned about Ag Education, Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles, Entomology, Human Development, Crop and Soil Sciences, Extension, and the CAHNRS Student Ambassadors. On display were rare stick insects and crawly caterpillars, digital clothing designs, original Palouse soil, student-created healthy cooking oil, student-grown ornamental plants, and tests of knowledge and skill.

Held annually, tailgate parties give alumni and supporters a chance to reconnect with the college, see how our students and scientists make a global difference, and learn how we all can be a part of life-changing academics and research at CAHNRS.
