An Oklahoma Wine Blog

Let’s get the inevitable out of the way immediately: I didn’t know they made wine in Oklahoma.

In fact, they do, and they have a viticulture extension educator working out of OK State, too. Which in itself is cool, but Eric T. Stafne, said educator, is also a blogger. Or, as he prefers, “glogger.”

And, as Voice of the Vine‘s editor and main writer, I was delighted to see that Dr. S. picked up on my article in yesterday’s issue on grapevine leafroll disease. It’s an important topic, and I like to see WSU’s leadership in combating the problem get talked up like this.

Now, though, I’m on a quest to find a really good bottle of OK wine. Anybody got any suggestions?
